B&B Fruit is based in Herveld and specialises in fruit growing and harvesting. For the plum harvest season, the company is looking for motivated employees who enjoy working outdoors.
Job description
As a Fruit Picker, you will mainly work in the orchard, picking plums, helping to transport them and, when necessary, packing the fruit.
Responsibilities:
- Picking ripe plums by hand
- Carefully placing the fruit on the transport conveyor
- Checking product quality and handling the fruit with care
- Helping to transport the harvested fruit
- Carrying out other seasonal harvesting tasks
- Assisting with sorting and packing fruit in the production hall when required
Requirements:
- Motivation and willingness to work
- Good physical condition and willingness to work outdoors
- Careful and responsible approach to work
- Basic knowledge of English is an advantage
- Experience in fruit picking or production is an advantage
Work environment and transport:
- Most of the work takes place outdoors in the orchard
- Modern harvesting platforms and specialised equipment are used
- The equipment reduces the need for heavy lifting and unnecessary walking
- When required, you may also help sort and pack fruit in the production hall
- Work location: Herveld
Salary:
€14.99 gross per hour, paid weekly.
