Baltussen is a well-known processing and packaging facility specialising in filling glass jars and containers with vegetables and fruit.
The company works with many well-known retail chains, offering more than 450 different products. Production is seasonal and adapts to the harvest periods of vegetables such as carrots, red cabbage and corn.
The work takes place in a temperature-controlled environment (4–7°C), ensuring the freshness and quality of the products. Employees are provided with protective workwear: overalls, caps and gloves, ensuring hygiene and safety.
The company employs people of various nationalities, while fixed shifts help create a close-knit team. Basic English skills are preferred but not required – there will always be someone available to help with translation.
Job description:
- Sorting vegetables and fruit according to quality
- Filling jars using machinery
- Checking the quality and quantity of packaged products
- Reporting malfunctions or irregularities to the operator
- Removing labels from glass packaging
- Salary: €14.99 gross/hour
Requirements and language skills
Basic English skills are an advantage, but are not required.
