Someone who shows every day what hard work, responsibility and teamwork truly mean. This month, this recognition goes to Maciej Wierzba, who works at Jumbo Veghel Bloemen & Planten.
Maciej is a true all-round employee. Reliable, flexible and always ready to help wherever needed. That is exactly why he fully deserves this title.
Always on the move
No two days are the same for Maciej. At Jumbo Veghel, he works in various areas and supports different departments, including order picking, stock replenishment, goods handling and packing. Wherever the workload is highest, that is where you will find Maciej.
His working days often start early in the morning. If there is no driver available, he first helps transport temporary workers to various companies. By 10 a.m. at the latest, he is already at Jumbo, ready to start working alongside the team. This is where his main responsibilities in the stock replenishment department begin.
He checks whether all deliveries have been received in full, sorts flowers according to the FIFO system and ensures that everything reaches the right departments on time. At the same time, he constantly monitors where stock is running low the fastest so that it can be replenished in time. And whenever he sees an opportunity to help another department, he immediately steps in.
What defines him? His ability to maintain an overview, think ahead and always go the extra mile.
A true all-rounder
Maciej enjoys the variety in his work. It is precisely the combination of different tasks that gives him energy.
“I like the variety in my work. I am also happy that I can take on additional tasks and driving assignments for Flexspecialisten to earn a little extra.”
His flexibility makes him an extremely valuable member of the team. He thinks along with others, adapts quickly and notices tasks that need to be done before others do. As a result, colleagues and coordinators know they can always rely on him.
At Flexspecialisten, he is in daily contact with Konrad to determine where additional support is needed. He also actively contributes to transport planning and finding solutions when gaps arise in the schedule.
Commitment and cooperation
Working with Maciej is smooth and positive. He is known as someone who takes responsibility and actively looks for solutions. Whenever something needs to be arranged, he is always ready to help. At the same time, he experiences the same level of commitment from Flexspecialisten.
Recently, Maciej moved into private accommodation. He needed help arranging various documents and practical matters. Dorus and Konrad immediately provided the necessary help and support. He greatly appreciates this personal contact.

An important personal step
An important milestone in Maciej’s life was the moment he started living independently. Thanks to his hard work, he was given the opportunity to move into private accommodation, something he is very proud of. He sees it as a major step forward.
“I feel satisfied that I managed to achieve this. I am now less dependent on provided accommodation.”
