This month, we’re putting Boris Tanase in the spotlight! Boris has been working through Flexspecialisten at Padifood in Oss for almost three years. What started as a job in production has developed into a role as assistant team leader. With his positive attitude, dedication to his colleagues and experience on the production floor, Boris has become a valued member of the team. A great reason to name him our Flex Worker of the Month!
From production worker to assistant team leader
When Boris started working at Padifood almost three years ago, he worked as a production worker, preparing various dishes. Since then, he has progressed to the position of assistant team leader, a role that comes with greater responsibility and a broader overview of the entire production process.
His working day begins with a walk around the production floor. He greets his colleagues, asks how everyone is doing and then checks whether the production lines are running smoothly. He also keeps a close eye on the quality of the food.
Sometimes, that even involves tasting the food! Boris checks whether the dishes have the right flavour, whether they are properly seasoned and whether all the ingredients and sauces are included. It’s a responsibility he really enjoys. “What I like about my current position is that I have a good overview of how the entire company operates.”
A dedicated colleague who enjoys helping others
What does Boris enjoy most about his job? Working with his colleagues. He enjoys being around people and believes it’s important that everyone feels comfortable at work.
His dedication goes beyond his daily responsibilities. Thanks to his extensive experience at Padifood, Boris knows exactly what the job involves. He is always happy to share that knowledge with others. In fact, he has already encouraged several people from his own network to start working at Padifood through Flexspecialisten.
He also helps new employees settle in and explains what they can expect from the job. This makes Boris not only a valuable member of the production team, but also someone others can rely on. He is particularly proud of the team he works with every day.

Building a future in the Netherlands
Boris now feels very much at home in the Netherlands. He lives in accommodation arranged through Flexspecialisten, sharing a home with a colleague who has also become a good friend over time. However, there is still one thing he hasn’t quite got used to: the Dutch weather, especially all the rain!
Looking ahead, Boris has a clear goal. He hopes to find a home of his own in the Netherlands so that he can bring his family here. It would be an important next step in the life he is building. With almost three years of experience, a well-deserved promotion at Padifood and strong relationships with his colleagues, Boris has already achieved a great deal.
